For reasons unknown, Henry PRACY was baptised again, aged 8, on 27 Feb 1867 at
St Mark's Church, Old Street Road (baptism register image at Ancestry.co.uk).
It is definitely him, because his birth date and parents are the same as his
first baptism. Odd.

Henry PRACY was a trimmer aboard a vessel called Ascot. On 18 Aug
1902, at 11.30pm, when it was moored off Newcastle, New South Wales, he fell
overboard and drowned. Henry was reportedly 39, but was actually a few
days short of his 44th birthday. His 'Last Place of Abode' was 52 Huntingdon
Street, London, which is where he had been living in 1901, with his sister, Elizabeth
SAGROTT.
The accident was reported in the local newspaper the following day, as follows
:-
"A man named Henry Pracey, employed as
cattleman on board the steamer Ascott, fell
overboard shortly after eleven o'clock last
night. Whilst in the act of walking up
the
gangway he missed his footing, and fell into
the harbour striking the stringer of the wharf
in his descent. The body was recovered
a few
minutes after mid-night. Deceased was
a
native of London."
