[9755] Source: Approximate year of birth only, calculated from age at marriage (22 in Feb 1914). Her age at death (45 in 1941) is almost certainly wrong, unless she had her son, Walter, aged 12. Her husband, who was killed in the same air-raid, had his age under-recorded in the GRO deaths index by at least ten years (51 instead of 61). We don't know who the informant was, but if it was a neighbour (for example), something similar may have occurred with Ethel's age.

Source: Information supplied by David Pracy. Ethel was killed in
an air raid, along with her huband Arthur, her daughter-in-law Dorothy, and her
grandson Walter. The same date is also recorded in the National Probate
Calendar (Index of Wills and Administrations), 1858-1966, online at Ancestry.co.uk,
which says.....
"PRACY Ethel of 32 Southwell-road Camberwell Surrey widow died 16 April 1941
Administration Llandudno 9 January to Walter Pracy motor transport driver.
Effects £785 2s 7d."
In the GRO deaths Index, must be..... "Jun 1941, Ethel PRACY, 45, Lambeth, 1d
317". Judging by the hopeless inaccuracy of her husband's age at death,
Ethel's recorded age cannot be trusted either.
