[2777] Notes: Presumed to be the 'Widow REYNOLDS' recorded in the Rector's list of inhabitants of 1806. She was not included in the Rector's lists of 1803-5 or 1807, so she was presumably elsewhere. Also presumed to be the 80-90 year old living with Edward HAGGER at the 1821 census, although she was probably only about 75.

Source: Approximate year of birth only, calculated from burial age (77
in 1823). Assuming that Sarah was born at Bassingbourn, there are two possibilities
for her baptism, as shown below (copied from indexed register transcript on fiche,
produced by the Cambridgeshire FHS). Neither of the 2 Sarahs were buried
at Bassingbourn (as infant or child), so it is impossible to decide (with present
knowledge) which one is my ancestor.
Sarah Pain, daughter of John Pain/Mary, baptised 5 Jul 1747
Sarah Paine, daughter of Robt. Paine/Frances, baptised 10 Oct 1748
