Notes: Registered at birth as Helena Sophia, and baptised as Helena Dorothea,
but she was known thereafter as Eleanor Sophia, or just plain Ellen. She
was the ancestor of Clary. See Other researchers

At the 1911 census, Eleanor Sophia was recorded as having had 11 children, of
whom 2 had died. One of the short-lived children was Walter John, born
& died 1896, but the other is unknown. In the 'Infirmity' column for her
husband was written "Wife Total Blind", from which it can be assumed that Eleanor
was blind by 1911.
