[2396] Notes: At her marriage, Susan signed the register as Susan Hoyet RANDS. Just to confuse things, the clergman recorded her name as Susan Haweyard RANNS! At the baptisms of both her children, she was recorded as Susan Hoyet BLOWER. Rather surprisingly, at her baptism (there is no doubt that this is the right one) she was plain Susan RANNS - no middle name. Her mother's surname was RUDDOCK, so her later adoption of 'Hoyet' as a middle name is a bit of a mystery.. .

[1992] Notes: Named as Emma VINCENT at her marriage, and as Emma PRACY in the 1881-1911 census, but as Emma H PRACY at her death. Her middle name initial points to her being Emma Herbert VINCENT, whose birth was registered in the first quarter of 1844 at Shoreditch. Further investigation of civil registration and census records indicates that she was the daughter of Henry VINCENT & Susan HERBERT, who married at Kensington in 1840, and then settled in Shoreditch.
