[2133] Source: Online GRO deaths index at FreeBMD.org.uk,.... "Jun 1902, Jane Ellen EASTER, 52, Loddon, 4b 129". Jane Ellen was actually 56, but she began lopping a bit off her age much earlier, after marryng a man some years her junior. At her 1886 marriage, she was 36 (actually 40). At the 1891 census, she was 40 (actually 45), and in 1901, 49 (actually 55).

[1419] Notes: John TREW was known to my mother as 'Uncle Big Jack', to distinguish him from his wife Kathleen's brother John CONDON, who was known as 'Uncle Little Jack'. John TREW was the elder of the two 'Jacks', hence he was 'Big Jack'. Confusingly (for my mother and others), Big Jack was physically much smaller than Little Jack!
John Henry TREW & Kathleen Alice CONDON were the grandparents of Graham Steadman (husband of Pamela - the family historian). See Other researchers page for contact details.

Although John Henry TREW's father was recorded on the marriage certificate as John TREW, his father's name is unknown. According to his birth certificate, John Henry TREW was actually the illegitimate son of Kate TREW.
