[9672] Notes: At the 1911 census, the widowed Mary Elizabeth SUNLEY was recorded as having had eight children, of whom two had died. The censuses of 1891-1901 provide the names of seven children, six of whom have been accounted for in 1911. The missing one was the youngest, Gladys Lily, who had died the year before, aged 14, in Kent. The other deceased child must have been born and died between the censuses. A search of the GRO births and deaths indexes finds only one such possibility, and that is Nicholas John, but without buying the relevant certificates, there is no actual proof.
