[10690] Notes: On 19th March 1834, when the ship Samuel Robertson arrived in New York on its journey from London, England, among the 106 passengers aboard, was the MATTHEWS family, comprising Ann 48, the mother, and her children, William 21, John 18, Ephraim 14, Ann 12, Eliza 6, and Caroline 4. The father of the chidren, and husband of Ann, Ephraim MATTHEWS senior, was not with the family, but had presumably made the journey at an earlier date, in order to pave the way for his family's arrival.

[9211] Notes: Named as a beneficiary of her husband Edward PRASCEY's will, although she died before the will was proved in 1780.
[9210] Source: Burial register transcript at the Society of Genealogists Library. Rather oddly, Sarah PRASCEY is recorded in the register as Mary PRASCEY. This must be a clerical error, because she was undoubtedly the wife of Edward PRASCEY, buried in the same churchyard 8 months later.
