1896 death certificate - aged 79
In her mother's 1837 will, Sarah's 3 younger siblings are recorded as under 21.
Sarah is listed last of the adult children, so had probably just reached 21,
i.e. born 1816. It would appear that her age was under-estimated at all
the above censuses, although the age on her death certificate looks more accurate.
[2993] Source: Baptism register, online at Ancestry.co.uk. Four other siblings were baptised at the same time, but unfortunately, the clergyman was either too busy or too lazy to record any of their birth dates. Assuming that the register lists the children in age order, from oldest to youngest, they are presented in the same order on this tree.
